OVERVIEW

This 8 days package will suit you if you never surfed before, need a recap on the basics, or if you are at an Intermediate level ready to take the next step on your surfing skills. It doesn’t require experience but if you have some we will make sure you make the most out of this time with us. On the first lesson, you’ll be assessed and grouped according to your surf level and divided into groups after being accessed by the instructors.

It will also allow you to book straight away a few extras so all you have to worry about is book the flight, pack your bag and get to the airport on time. It includes 5 lessons so you make the most of your time in the water.

We keep a ratio of 5 or fewer guests per instructor to guarantee quality, safety and FUN. We always aim to teach on a beach break (sandy beach) even if we need to drive further along the coast.

Overall we will be looking to learn/improve your pop-up and paddle techniques, front side and backside turns, help you with wave timing and with the video analysis session you will be able to watch and talk through the areas you are already smashing and the ones you can improve.

Our instructors are stoked to share a bit of the silver coast experience with you. Apart from their personal experience all over the world, they have thousands of sea-hours, in class, with all learning levels. Most importantly, they are credited by the International Surf Association (L2) and the Portuguese Surf Federation to give you the best possible experience regardless of your level. We keep our ration between Student and Instructor low to allow more time with the instructor, immediate feedback translating into more quality and progression in the water.

THE SURF CAMP & TOWN

MagikVanilla sits in one of the few secluded properties in Ericeira. Right next to it, the community garden and a picnic park give it a feel of being surrounded by nature. Within minutes, you can walk to different beaches or pop down the town centre. And you just need to go down the road to find a pharmacy, supermarket or restaurant.

The Surf camp offers dorms up to 5 people, double and twin rooms in the main house, and two bungalows – the Duke and Captain Jack, with double bed, private bathroom, kitchen and lounge. You’re also welcome to use the main house kitchen, barbeque and TV lounge at any time; as well as our chill-out areas, sun decks, terraces and a swimming pool.

We are lucky enough to be in Ericeira. It is a small town, but full of life. Especially in the sunny seasons, when days and nights are warm and long-lasting. The centre is bubbling with people, street fairs, lovely shops and a great variety of bistros, cafes and terraces. The evening starts slow, with plenty of restaurants serving dinner until late, pubs, bars, folk parties and even a Club open until 6 am in the Summer.

Ericeira is the only World Surf Reserve in Europe, and one of the most consistent spots on the South Atlantic coast. We have such a variety of waves, beaches, reef and point break, that you’ll find perfect spots, regardless of your experience.

Besides Sun, sea and surf there’s plenty more to enjoy. From a full body massage after your lessons to a horse ride on the west coast, SUP Lessons, Wine Tasting Tours, Guided Bike rides through the World surf Reserve, yoga and aerial yoga lessons and so much more, that hard will be to find time to do them all.
